3K is available in our preschool 3-4 age room. Children may enroll solely for the 3K experience. The 3K program includes: carpet time, storybook reading, arts and crafts, early literacy and math lessons, and hands-on science activities. Students learn foundational classroom skills to help them prepare for their transition into our full-day 4K program!
Storybook Street will once again feature dance, drama, art, music, movement and more as we partner with our local arts agencies to bring books to life. Many performances will include engaging, hands-on, age-appropriate activities for your children to enjoy. Books will be distributed at each arts booth.
This unit is designed for at-risk high school students, some of whom already have a child, and many of whom have young siblings, nieces and nephews. At a time when literacy among school children is of grave concern, it seems crucial to teach teens not only the importance of reading to children but how to do it. It also goes without saying that many at-risk teens were short-changed when it came to being read to and reading storybooks when they were children.
Did you know that the Swedes were the first Europeans to settle the Delaware Valley This program focuses on the founding and legacy of the New Sweden Colony, established in 1638 along the Delaware River.
